I have found with experience a way to weed out the scams.

If you cannot get the information you need to know about the company and thier comp plans, etc. without having to sign up first, then it probably is a scam. Or if you have to pay to get the info, it's probalbly a scam too. Don't pay for anything until you know what is involved.
