| I received an email along the same lines as the occassional one pretending to be paypal with the heading"Dear Member" (<< first clue) saying I needed to update information or my account may be suspended-- the only difference was that this one was for egold.-- |

I've had a lot of Bank & eBay emails trying to say they'll close your account if you don't confirm your details.
Banks do not contact you by email for your details. Always be wary!
If in doubt ... ring & check if there is a problem... Log into your account by logging in via website & not via an email....

| It is really sad that there are those who fall for these practices. But, as long as the internet continues to flourish, there will always be a new stream of possible victims for these scam artists. The best we can do is keep people aware with threads like this. - Buddy - |
