Do you know these nigerian scammers are everywhere.
A couple months ago, I was looking online to buy a dog. I was on this pet website where people can place their pets for sale. I emailed a person for their yorkie dog. They emailed back and asked my plans for the pet, etc. It sounded really sincere. Then they called me and said that they were in Nigeria and to Money Gram the money and it would be shipped.
I knew it was a SCAM and hung up! |

Maybe you could list the site and not condemn the whole country. -Buddy
I have changed your subject title from "Watch out for the Nigerians" to "Pet buying scam"- please add the site link at your convenience. |

I was trying to buy a pet of www.NextDayPets.com
After finding out it was a scam, I looked more at the site and they even warn people of scammers.
Im not condeming the whole country, just the nigerians who try to scam. I am sure you have received your fair share of scam emails from them too. |

Once again you are being very general. Please refrain from grouping people together as scammers and be more precise about the scams in your statements. There are scams everywhere on the internet and from ALL countries. So all internet users should be careful. This section is meant for specific sites or scam warnings. So please use appropriate subject titles in the future.- Thanks - |

| I have removed your last post- and now I am locking this topic. I asked you not to stereotype and you came back with nigerian scam alert links- as I said before you can say that about any country and find links to back those ideas. Please stop this. |
