Now is the time of the year to start getting those fundraisers scheduled. They make a great way to bring in income!
So everyone think about the organizations in your community that is needing a fundraisers. There are lots of them. Schools, Bowling Centers, Day Cares, Research Organizations, etc.
Also it is almost Christmas time. Schedule some shows, trade markets, etc.

Hey Lacy,
I have one show next weekend, the 7th and another the weekend of the 22 and 23.. for 2 days.. and that one is a really big outdoor one! :) |

| My first one I did $290 selling a few jars, votives and car freshners. I do have to say though that 98% of the people that looked and smelled, bought, and of those many bought 2 . :) Actually that booth was set up at a festival whos main focus was the parade they had.. not necessarily a festival where people are going for the purpose of buying. The 2 day fair is definitely a place where people go for the purpose of buying so Im excited about that one! :) |

| I was supposed so start a fundraiser this week with my kids school, but something came up and we are pushing it back to November. I was kinda upset casue I really needed to make some money this month. |

Robin,
Wow, 98% of the people liked what they smelled that is great. You might receive a lot more sells from all those people too. With Christmas coming people will begin to think more about gifts. And that means sells to us.
What I have found is that after someone buys the candles and brings them home and burns them, they realize how great they truly are and this leads to even more sells from that customers. Your on your way!! |

Don't worry about the fundraiser being pushed to November. I have several fundraisers scheduled in November because that is when most people start thinking Christmas gifts. Those fundraisers seem to be a double purpose because everyone wants to support the fundraiser and they are wanting to buy Christmas gifts. And our candles make wonderful gifts. So usually fundraisers do very well during this time of the year. |

| I understand that is the best time, but I was counting on this one fundraiser to help me this month with making some payments. But I may be doing two home parties instead, so that will help. |

| Way to go. Yeah, I know what you mean about trying to make money to pay payments with. But they say that good things come to those that wait. And it looks like it worked for you with the home parties. Great job. :lol: |
