| Unfortunately I won't be able to get what I want to this year. This is the worst year for me and my family financially. But at least we will be together and we will be happy. That's the most important. Of course, my son won't see it that way :roll: |

Now I am done.
Last minute my brother decides that yes he is sending his sons to NY for Christmas break so had to do some extra. I love spending Christmas in the airport to pick them up.
I do not think I will be able to give them what they want with the weather so warm. Snow, they are from Florida and that is what they want.

He is 9. He demands a lot from us, and the demands have been increasingly harsher and more frequent since he turned 9 in October. He cries and talks back if he doesn't get what he wants exactly when he wants it. Too bad. He's got to learn that life never gives you what you want, unless you work hard for it, and then only if you are lucky. He would rather be playing video games or hanging out with his friends than do something with us. Honestly, I knew that stage would happen, I just though it wouldn't happen until he became a teenager. :roll: |

I'm finished with the shopping part. But ... I make most, if not all, of my gifts. So, the "making" isn't done yet. I'm in the middle of it there, good thing we always get together for Christmas after the actual day LOL.
This weekend I'm candy making, cookie making, cake making, and pie making for next week :) |

OH SARA!! I didn't see your siggy line in the intro post!!! LOL! I'm a fellow FGC and SAF rep!!
Anyway, I wish I could do baking. I wanted to make sugar cookies again this year, but my cookie cutters have mysteriously dissapeared. :( My kids are sad too- they had so much fun making them last year for Santa... I should be finding my pie recipies and making some of those too...
Thursday I will get the last of the christmas presents finally. I was able to get envelopes today for tons of christmas cards I made on the computer for some friends. I have to get them out on Monday, and I still need stamps. But at least that part's done. Now to get more wrapping paper and bows to wrap those presents. :wink: |
