A graduate of Colorado University, Doctor Robert Bohannon, says he has developed a way to add caffeine to baked goods, without the bitter taste of caffeine. Each pastry is equivalent of about two cups of coffee.
Although the product is not on the market yet, Bohannon says he has approached some big companies with his new idea, including Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks.
Can you imagine paying 4 or 5 bucks for a doughnut? If you are already getting the caffeine in the doughnut, what does one drink with their doughnut? Milk? Definitely not coffee, or you'll have a caffeine overdose!
I don’t believe I’ll be participating in this one. |
